I couldn't be more impressed by 112 Eatery - every item we ordered was outstanding! In all honesty, we went here as other places were full but this should have been a first choice. Everything was amazing, our waitress was soooo helpful and attentive the entire time. Provided a thorough breakdown of the menu and was insight with the wine. We ordered the 112 Steak Tartare - this was insanely good. Their rendition was so very tasty. The octopus was another dish we ordered and I hope it never leaves the menu - the most perfect pairing of all ingredients, I would have ordered 3 more if I could. Amazing! We had the tagliatelle , stringozzi, and the gnocchi - all three were stellar. The gnocchi shined the brightest as the flavors were incredibly bold and the quantity of lobster was so generous. I highly recommend the gnocchi! The other pasta dishes did not lack in flavor or pizzaz at all - they were all so tasty and offered different avenues of flavor. I can not wait to come back here in the future! 112 Eatery is so special

First, let's talk about the stringozzi. Never have we ever had pasta this good. Then let's talk about the halibut with butter and lemon mashed potatoes. What else even needs to be said about that. Let's move on to the bavette. It melted in your mouth. And the flavors exploded while it did. The apps did not disappoint either. The octopus was scrumptious. Especially the charred ends. Fried bread with prosciutto melted in your mouth and the burratta toast, forget about it. Mariana Grande, our waitress was the bomb. Do not think about where her to eat here, think about how many times you can eat here.

I loved this restaurant since 2009 and still do......I am so glad to see that they weathered Covid and still making excellent food out of their kitchen. I am not exaggerating but everything we ordered on the menu from their pasta dishes to the brava steak were just sublime. Their cocktails were also amazing. I cannot wait to return again very soon. This restaurant is indeed the gem of Minneapolis!

We were sat upstairs by the window which I thought had a really cool ambiance. We ordered the 112 Beef Tartare (not pictured- unfortunately phone did not eat first in this case) it was one of my favorite tartares I have ever had. I ordered the Nori Encrusted Bavette and it was cooked perfect medium rare and the ponzu sauce was delicious. My husband ordered the Tagliatelle and was also very impressed. Overall, great waiter and delicious food!

My partner and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. Based on them having beef tartare and lamb on the menu, I knew why partner would love it. We started off with the 112 tartare. It was good but was missing something...not sure what. We also had the octopus which was amazing. I had the prime bavette for my entree. It also was delicious and just the right size. For dessert, we split the butterscotch budino and a brown butter bourbon. I would return just for the budino! The brown butter bourbon is very much bourbon with a hint of browned butter. I thought it was very good as well, but would probably just prefer the bourbon. Overall, it was a great dining experience!

Was in town and tried this place. A must visit restaurant. Fantastic vibe with even better service. We sat upstairs and the server did a great job. The tartar was insanely good. I ordered the halibut and it was crispy. The mashed potatoes were maybe the best of my life? Loved the buttery and lemon flavors.

112 Eatery is one to add to your list. Whether you are having dinner before going to a show, meeting your besties to kick off a night on the town, or taking a family member out to eat, you will love having delicious food and pleasant service in a beautiful slice of history. As is characteristic of many restaurants in the North Loop, 112 Eatery has preserved the original character of the building that it is in while also adding its own touches. We sat in the smaller room upstairs--I highly recommend it. We arrived early and found it easy to have a conversation. (As the evening progressed, it did get louder, but it was still quieter than the larger dining areas.) The upstairs powder room is very cute, too--I loved the wallpaper! My host described the environment as "come as you are," and that is very apt. You'll be comfortable dressed casually. Going out on the town? That's okay, too. Dressed formally for a special event? All good--you will be comfortable. It feels classy but in a laid-back way. The food and drink offerings are sure to please everyone. There is an extensive beer and wine list, and there are plenty of cocktails as well. Zero Proof? They've got you covered! I enjoyed the Something Delicious (tart, sweet--it's a nostalgic treat!) and the California Love (imagine a Salty Dog but better), which definitely had me doing a little happy dance. We were spoiled for choice on our foods. Huge, enthusiastic praise for the dietary restrictions menu--every last menu item is there, with relevant restriction information noted. Thank you, thank you, thank you to 112 Eatery for making it easy to see which dishes met my dietary needs (or could be adapted to do so). I wish every restaurant menu was this clear. For a cold started, we ordered the burrata toast, which was the winner of the evening. This dish was creative and delicious, hitting every last taste (sweet, savory, salty, tart, and bitter) in each bite, plus checking all of the texture boxes. The bite of garlic, freshness of the basil, toasty astringency of the walnuts, the tart-sweet-bitter marmalade, and the mild creaminess of the burrara just sang to me in a way that few dishes do. Add in the crunchy bread with the taste of the grill? It's one for your bucket list. For my main, I got the vegetarian pasta. It was great! Mushrooms, oil, and lemon on flawlessly cooked ribbons of pasta and topped with breadcrumbs and fresh parsley. It was so delicious I almost (almost!) regretted having eaten so much burrata toast. This was a perfect end-of-winter-early-spring entree. For our sides, we got the cauliflower fritters and the Swiss chard. The cauliflower fritters are yummy--whole florets surrounded by a crispy batter and topped with cheese. Don't forget to squeeze in some lemon! Very tasty. Non-veggie folks will enjoy the anchovy butter--my host said that it has a pleasant bite. Those of you who are fans of Greek flavors will enjoy the Swiss chard. In addition to the feta, it features that wonderful combination of tomato and cinnamon that you find in Mediterranean cooking but not elsewhere. It was an unexpected and completely delicious surprise. I was about ready to burst at the seams, even after taking half of everything home, but there was a dessert menu, and it was calling me. My host ordered the horchata mousse. I got to try a bite. If you like horchata, order it. If you like rice pudding, order it. If you like pleasantly starchy, mildly sweet, and lightly spiced desserts, order it. It was very good and not at all heavy. If, on the other hand, you're in the mood for something richer that has salty notes and a hint of bitterness from caramelization, try the budino. Butterscotch pudding is topped with a generous layer of toasty caramel and some creamy mascarpone. It's a rich and delicious treat, amd you absolutely deserve it. This plus the lovely service from Mariana (thank you for helping me navigate the menu choices!) made for a wonderful dining experience. I absolutely recommend dinner here, either as part of a night out in the neighborhood or just to enjoy a meal.

In town for a work event, this is a quaint place with a ton of charm and INCREDIBLE food! I have never experienced 5 star dining like we did tonight. There were 7 of us, we had a variety of dishes and everything was perfection. Every ingredient could be tasted and the each dish is handled with care and perfection. The burrata toast with walnut pesto is a must!!!! Our waitress was AMAZING. She was knowledgeable and made great suggestions. She was an expert with all the options including vegan. I WILL BE BACK!

Came to 112 for dinner with out of town relatives. Food was great and portion sizes were perfect. I had the lobster gnocchi (pillowy, great chunks of meat, and crusty bread) and the others had the prosciutto halibut. As other reviews mentioned, it is a very small restaurant with no area to stand while waiting for your table. I highly recommend a reservation! Our service was meh after we did not order appetizers. Our server was slow to take meal order and wasn't around to ask how our meal was or if we wanted a second round of drinks. Overall will be back, there was other menu items I was interested in trying, but hopefully we don't have the same server
